Newrange Gold is a precious metals exploration and development company focused on near-to-intermediate term production opportunities in favorable jurisdictions including Nevada, Ontario and Colorado. With numerous drill intercepts of near surface oxide gold mineralization to 340 grams gold per metric tonne, the Company’s flagship Pamlico Project is poised to become a significant new Nevada discovery. Focused on developing shareholder value through exploration and development of key projects, the Company is committed to building sustainable value for all stakeholders.

Projects in Hand

Flagship Project:

Pamlico Gold Project, Nevada

Nevada

  • 5th largest gold producer and 3rd most desirable mining jurisdiction in the world
  • 5.6 Moz of gold produced in 2018
  • 169.1 Moz of gold produced from 1835-2018

Walker Lane District

  • Hosting many historic and current gold and silver districts and mines, including Round Mountain, Comstock Lode and Tonopah
  • Over 53 Moz gold and 519 Moz silver produced

Project Highlights

  • New high-grade, volcanic hosted, near surface, oxide gold discovery in legendary Walker Lane district of western Nevada (1880’s-1920’s)
  • Unique, almost unexplored opportunity – in private hands since 1896
  • Newrange has option to earn 100%
  • Excellent Infrastructure: modern decline, power, roads
  • Exceptional Metallurgy
  • District scale property (2,548 hectares)
  • Multiple targets yet to be tested

District Scale Potential: Multiple Targets exceeding 2 x 2 km

  • Merritt Area (39 of 47 holes to date)
  • Pamlico Ridge (several historic mines): 1.5 km strike length / 300+ old mine workings
  • Pediment Area: 1.3 km x 0.7 km zone / 4.7 g/t Au from only outcrop
  • Gold Box Canyon: 1.5 km strike / Up to 98 g/t Au in outcrop
  • Central & Sunset Mines
  • East Zone North & South: Up to 5.0 g/t Au in outcrop
  • Gold Skarn Zone

Exploration To Date by Newrange

  • Property-wide magnetic, radiometric and gravity geophysical surveys
  • Sampling of Merritt Decline
    • Composite average.: 75.5 m @ 2.92 g/t Au
    • High-grade interval: 13.8 m @ 17.25 g/t Au
    • Permits in place to take 1,000 ton bulk sample for geotechnical assessment and large scale metallurgical testing
  • Surface mapping, sampling and trenching
  • Underground surveying, mapping and sampling
  • Phase I, II and III RC drilling programs: 5,660.8 metres in 47 holes
  • Preliminary metallurgy
  • Core hole test program
  • Transferred permits for underground development and bulk sampling
  • Induced Polarization (IP) geophysics
    • Covered 6 target areas: Pamlico Ridge, Pediment, Gold Box Canyon, Central Mine, Sunset Mine, and Skarn Zone
    • Multiple anomalies detected
    • Good correlation with gold mineralization in Drill Area and Merritt Decline
    • Multiple new targets for drilling

Pamlico Drilling

Discovered multiple, new high-grade gold zones in Merritt Area

Near surface, oxide intercepts – Highlights:

  • DH P17-08: 9.1 m of 28 g/t Au (incl. 1.5 m of 85 g/t)
  • DH P17-10: 6.1 m of 98 g/t Au (incl. 1.5 m of 341 g/t)
  • DH P17-17: 4.6 m of 44 g/t Au (incl. 0.8 m of 244 g/t)

Discovered “halo” disseminated/stockwork bulk tonnage potential in Merritt Area and Pamlico Ridge

Near surface, oxide “stockwork” intercepts – Highlights:

  • DH P17-26: 28.2 m @ 4.54 g/t Au (from 19.8 m)
  • DH P17-33: 53.4 m @ 2.36 g/t Au (from surface)
  • DH P17-26: 39.6 m @ 1.48 g/t Au (from 85.4 m)
  • Decline – Continuous saw cut channel sampling: 75.5 m @ 2.92 g/t Au (from face)

Discovered previously unknown stockwork/disseminated gold mineralization at depth

Results indicate potential for lower-grade bulk tonnage deposit with high-grade ‘sweeteners’

North Birch Gold Project, Ontario

  • Located in the prolific Red Lake Mining Division
  • Target is an Iron Formation Hosted Gold Deposit, modeled after the 7+ million oz Musselwhite Mine in N. Ontario
  • 3,850 ha in two contiguous blocks covering the entire Iron Formation (IF) package
  • Despite several gold showings on the property, the IF has never been drilled
  • Only a few kilometres from past-producing Argosy Mine (101,875 oz Au at 12.7 g/t) and 15 km from Springpole Deposit (4.7 million oz Au)
  • Up to 35 g/t Au over 1.6m in historic drilling on North Birch Property
  • 5.64 g/t Au in grab sample of pyritic IF at H Lake
  • Option to earn 100%

Upcoming Plans

Pamlico Project

  • Continued underground surveying, mapping & sampling
  • 3D modeling of mineralized zones
  • Surface mapping & sampling of various zones
  • RC and Diamond Drilling at various target zones

North Birch Project

  • Reprocess airborne magnetic and electromagnetic data
  • Linecutting and possible Induced Polarization (IP) geophysics
  • Surface mapping and sampling
  • Diamond drilling

News Update

On May 27, 2020, Newrange Gold Corp. announced that a drilling contractor is mobilizing to its Pamlico gold project in Nevada. Drilling is scheduled to begin on May 28. Roadwork and site preparations have been completed for the first holes, and applications have been submitted to the Bureau of Land Management for permitting the balance of the program. Importantly, the drill crew will be working under a strict COVID-19 protocol, both on and off site, to ensure the health and safety of all Newrange employees and contractors.

The initial part of the program will entail approximately 3,000 to 3,500 metres in 30 to 35 holes, primarily along Pamlico Ridge. Ultimately, the drilling program is anticipated to entail up to 10,000 metres over the next couple of months.
