Sassy Resources is an exploration stage resource company currently engaged in the identification, acquisition and exploration of high-grade precious metal and base metal projects in North America. Its focus is the Foremore Gold-Silver Project located in the Eskay Camp, Liard Mining Division, in the heart of Northwest B.C.'s prolific Golden Triangle, and the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt.

With approximately $7.5 million in working capital entering the second half of 2021, Sassy's 2021 programs in the Eskay Camp and Newfoundland are fully funded.

Projects in Hand

(1) Foremore Gold-Silver Project, Northwest British Columbia

  • Covers 146 sq. km and is now 100% owned by Sassy
  • Located 45 km north of the Eskay Creek mine in under-explored section of Eskay Camp
  • Three major areas of focus offer exceptional discovery potential: Westmore, More Creek Corridor, and Hanging Valley
  • Grassroots Westmore target quickly became new gold-silver discovery in 2020

Westmore Gold-Silver Discovery

Highlights

  • Maiden drilling at Westmore in the fall of 2020 (1,662 m) confirmed the discovery of a structurally controlled gold-silver-rich system with a large surface footprint;
  • All six first-ever drill holes at Westmore returned gold-silver mineralization with four of them cutting multiple intersections with grades as high as 14.2 g/t Au and 86.4 g/t Ag;
  • Discovery potential remains open in all directions and there is ample, immediate opportunity to extend the gold-silver mineralization identified in 2020 along strike to the east and locally outside of the intrusive and into the neighbouring country rock;
  • An abundance of mineralized veins with pockets of high-grade combined with critical pathfinder elements in drill core (consistent with features recognized on surface) and thick zones of quartz stockworks in drill core suggest the potential for a large, shallow orogenic-type gold-silver deposit at Westmore.

More Creek Corridor (MCC)

  • The gold-silver-rich More Creek VMS corridor has been expanded to 5 km following Sassy's 2020 drilling and prospecting;
  • Q2 2021 VTEM Survey (results pending) will greatly aid the search for new discoveries in this under-explored corridor.

Hanging Valley

  • The Hanging Valley is defined by multiple precious and base metal showings and various mineralization styles over broad areas;
  • Sassy surface sampling along the Sunday-Boulder lineament returned up to 142 g/t Au;
  • Q2 2021 VTEM Survey (results pending) will guide this summer's exploration campaign

(2) Central Newfoundland Gold Belt

A Vastly Under-Explored District Delivering Canada's Newest High-Grade Gold Discoveries

Sassy Controls 2,257 sq. km – One of District's Biggest Landowners

Five Major High Probability Claim Blocks Never Previously Drilled

  • Favorable Structures
  • The Right Rocks
  • Promising Geochemistry
  • Aggressive Exploration Program in Progress

"We've got a stacked deck here. And we have a method to hunt, that's the key. So we're not wildcatting. We know where we're going. Instead of hunting with a machine gun, it's like we're hunting with a sniper rifle." – Shawn Ryan, The Prospector

Gander Belt Project Outline

Gander North (460 sq. km)

  • Starts 15 km east of New Found Gold's Keats Zone
  • Drill permits for western edge of block straddling GRUB Line
  • Major new structure interpreted to exist parallel to the GRUB Line extending well to the north sitting directly under regional anomalous gold-in-till

Mt. Peyton (949 sq. km)

  • Massive land package in favorable intrusive setting in between New Found Gold's Keats Zone and Sokoman's Moosehead discovery to the west
  • The under-explored intrusive and gabbroic rocks found at Mount Peyton are commonly associated with gold mineralization

BLT (288 sq. km)

  • BLT (Botwood, Laurenceton and Thwart Island) gives Sassy exposure to a large unexplored section of the Northern Arm Fault
  • This is the same fault system that hosts Marathon Gold's multi-million ounce gold resource to the southwest
  • BLT features an unusual amount of gabbro sills (favorable for gold) coincident with regional magnetic trends

Carmanville (84 sq. km)

  • 65 km north of Gander, Carmanville extends out to the west from the GRUB Line
  • Carmanville is anomalous with the same geochemical elements as the H-Pond and Jonathan's Pond targets to the south near Gander

Regional Project Outline

Cape Ray II (320 sq. km)

  • Major land package adjoining one of the highest-grade open-pit projects in the world, Matador Mining's Cape Ray deposits
  • Compilation and reinterpretation of limited historical data suggests that Sassy's Cape Ray II is much more prospective for gold mineralization than previously believed
  • High priority will be given to a previously unrecognized fault structure veering off from Matador's Cape Ray deposits onto Sassy's ground

Little River

  • Road accessible and adjoins eastern border of Canstar's flagship Golden Baie Project
  • Several cross faults extend from within the Little River Belt into the Little River Property
  • Historic work shows gold-in-soil plus gold/arsenic till and lake sediment anomalies

Hermitage

  • Strategic location along the regional Hermitage suture and related cross faults
  • These structures are the fundamental contacts between the Gander tectonic zone and the Avalon tectonic zone to the east, a favorable structural environment for gold deposits
  • Property features extensive siliceous alteration zones exceeding 600 meters in length along Abbott's Brook based on historic Noranda reports

Investment Highlights

  • Dynamic Leadership
  • Compelling Share Structure
  • Discovery Leverage
  • Financial Strength
  • Year-Round Exploration
  • Market Savvy

News Update

On September 10, 2021, Sassy Resources Corp. has provided an exploration update on the company's projects in northwest British Columbia's Eskay camp and the central Newfoundland gold belt.

Foremore Gold-Silver Project

  • Diamond drilling is continuing at the company's Westmore discovery zone within the larger 146-square-kilometre Foremore project area. This summer's drilling has focused on mineralized quartz veins at lower elevations to the south and east of the company's 2020 discovery at Westmore, demonstrating the potential significant vertical extent of this system. Surface sampling and detailed geologic mapping are being performed to support both the drill program at Westmore and the continuing interpretation of the controls on the mineralization within and around the Westmore intrusive;
  • While drilling continues at Westmore, crews are ground truthing multiple VTEM and magnetic anomalies identified in the preliminary data generated by the recently completed high resolution, deep penetrating 1,687 line-kilometre airborne VTEM Survey across the broader Foremore Property. Delivery of final data from this survey, performed earlier in the 2021 field season, is pending.

On July 30, 2021, Sassy Resources Corp. announced that it has commenced diamond drilling at the Westmore discovery zone in the southwest portion of the Company's Foremore property.

Mark Scott, Sassy chief executive officer, commented: "The diamond drill is turning at the Westmore discovery zone on veins and swarms that feature widths significantly greater than those intersected with our six highly encouraging maiden drill holes in 2020 and at a lower elevation, which will give us a much deeper 'look' into the Westmore granodiorite intrusive and the auriferous quartz veins which penetrate it. Crews are following up on the promising preliminary results of the recently completed property-wide VTEM survey and we're confident that work will generate fresh drill targets for later this season and beyond."
